our mission

Bridge to Granada provides stress-free planning and on-the-ground coordination for small groups. Based in Monachil, a mountain village just outside Granada, we take care of the local details and logistics, connecting groups with people, places, and experiences they wouldn’t easily find on their own.

Our focus is on sharing real local life in Granada and in the towns across Ireland where we have personal connections—through traditions, the natural world, and genuine human connection. We create opportunities for ways of life to be experienced, shared, and meaningfully connected on both sides of the bridge.

About Us


Hi, I’m Mary Britton.

I moved to Granada from Wicklow 16 years ago with my husband Shane, and we live in Monachil, a beautiful mountain village, with our two daughters.

Over the years, I’ve built a reliable, knowledgeable network of local people. My approach is practical, warm, and detail-focused — once your group arrives, they’re well looked after, and everything runs smoothly.

Partners & Experience


We work with partners like Britton Outdoors, supporting their Sierra Nevada trekking trips, as well as a variety of groups, from family gatherings to sports club exchanges. Whatever the group, we tailor each experience to their needs and handle all the local details and logistics, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the ground.

Hey, I just want to say a huge thank you for organising an amazing basketball weekend in Granada. Everything was so well planned, from the flights to the accommodation and even the restaurants that could cater for larger groups. For us being  a group of 20 u18 girls , it made the trip completely stress free and so enjoyable. We really appreciate all the effort you put into it and hopefully we will see the Spanish teams come to Ireland.
